The Seventh Sociological Post-Doctorate Forum was held in Beijing on September 23, 2012, sponsored by CASS and the National Post-Doctorate Administration Committee, and organized by the CASS Post-Doctorate Administration Committee, China Post-Doctorate Foundation and Institute of Sociology, CASS. The Forum theme was “Social Institutional Reform: Theory and Practice”.  Sixty post-docs from all over China attended the Forum. Speeches were made by Li Yang, Deputy President of CASS; Xia Wenfeng, Secretary-General of the China Post-Doctorate Foundation; and Wang Xiaoxi, Deputy Director of the Institute of Sociology, CASS. Zhang Yi, Deputy Director of the Institute of Sociology, CASS, presided and made a concluding remark at the Forum. Keynote speeches were given by Li Peilin, Director of the Institute of Sociology, CASS; Li Xuesong, Deputy Director of the Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics, CASS, and Professor Ye Hailin, National Institute of International Strategy, CASS, after which the post-docs presented at a number of specialized sessions.
