Professors Chen Yingying and Li Chunling, and Associate Professor Lu Peng will attend the 85^th Annual Conference of the Japan Sociological Society on November 3-4. Prof. Chen will present on “The governance model of the grassroots organization in rural China”; Prof. Li will present on “Understanding social inequality in the background of socio-economic transition: Focus and debate in the textbooks of the Chinese sociology; Lu Peng’s topic will be “Money-gentry politics and political participation of the private entrepreneurs”.
