The Present Situation of Children of Migrant Workers’ Accompanied Migration and Promoting Path Liu Chengbin & Tong Fenyan(11)
Abstract: Migrant workers’ familyoriented mobility is an important component step to promote population urbanization in China. In order to understand and analyze the present situation of children of migrant workers’ familyoriented mobility with their parents and influencing factors, this paper makes use of dynamic monitoring data on migrant population conducted by National Health and Family Planning Commission in 2013,and conducts descriptive and causal analysis. According to statistics, among total sample of migrant workers, the proportion of children of migrant workers migrating with parents has accounted for sixty percent of mobile families;for children of migrant workers at the stage of school age in compulsory education, the rate of accompanied migration is a little lower than overall rate of accompanied migration. According to statistical model, for children of migrant workers, their behavior of accompanied migration is influenced by multiple economic and social variables. Hence,in the process of urbanization, the government and society should promote children of migrant workers’ accompanied migration from multiple aspects, including income level, work intensity and life style, coordination of regional resources, coverage of social security, etc.

Abstract: The professionals in social work have suffered from brain drain seriously;however, existing studies seldom conduct analysis from perspective of students. Based on participation observation and interview of social work undergraduates from university A and university B,this study tries to explore major selection and occupational cognition of social work undergraduates in Mainland China. According to our study, different from original “narration framework”,the reasons why students select social work as their major are complex and varied after classified enrollment. As for whether they will become social workers in the future, these students not only consider salary level and social recognition, but also whether their characters are suitable, colleagues are professional, service model is independent, value of social work could be realized and so on. Through analyzing social work undergraduates’ decision process from “entry to exit”,we could improve educational reform and occupational development in social work.

Abstract: This paper describes study and life state of boys situated in back rows of classroom, which is different from most students;meanwhile, from perspective of space sociology,we analyze how space characteristic situated in back rows of classroom contribute students in back rows to form a subgroup. According to the findings, teachers would like to make different arrangement of space in classroom, they tend to transfer boys who are not disciplined and like against teachers to back rows of classroom, hence form space of back rows different from mainstream space. Under different situations, boys in back rows might display three states different from boys in space of front rows:dormant, emphasizing existence, pursuing identity. Meanwhile they also shape the meaning of back space, hence form peer groups which might develop antischool culture. The analysis of these issues would help us to further understand the evolution of antischool culture.
